Artwork Guidelines

We carry a vast selection of Mac software and fonts. However, it is not possible to keep all versions
of software. Please refer to the guidelines set out below when providing artwork.
 

Supplying Files

You can supply your artwork using the following media:
CD
DVD
USB Flash Drive
We can also recieve files upto 30mb by email or download from your FTP site.

What we need from you

- The original files
- Any related files, placed images, included fonts etc.
- A colour or black & white proof
- Pantone references where appropriate

If Pantone references or a colour proof are not provided we will print directly from your file and will not be held responsible for unpredictable results as colour matches cannot be guaranteed.

We use the following software

Quark Express 7.0
Adobe illustrator CS2
Adobe Photoshop CS2
Adobe Indesign CS2
Freehand MX
CorelDraw 11

Notes on file saving for specific packages

Quark Express/Indesign
Include all elements, TIFFs, EPS's and fonts

Adobe Illustrator
Include all fonts or create text to outlines. Embed all placed images or include them for us to embed.

Freehand (If you have a freehand file please do the following)
Choose "export" from the file menu and select "illustrator 7.ai" and remember to include any placed files.

CoralDRAW (If you have a CoralDRAW file please do the following)
Export all the files as EPS or PDF and make sure to select text as outlines when doing so.

Adobe Photoshop
For best results save files in EPS format at 300dpi and at a quarter of the finished size. If this creates a file
size of over 300mb please call us for advice. PLEASE PROVIDE A COLOUR PROOF.

IF YOU PROVIDE YOUR ARTWORK IN PDF FORMAT PLEASE SEND US ANY FONTS USED SEPARATELY OR OUTLINE FONTS BEFORE SAVING. WE DO NOT ACCEPT WORD, EXCEL OR POWERPOINT DOCUMENTS AS ARTWORK FILES.
